A fundraising campaign for The National Library of Scotland, appealing for donations to help preserve the Scottish newspaper collections from degradation.

The Library’s newspaper collections are truly unique, with rich reflection of Scottish history from the 1600s to the present day, comprising of millions of newspapers that include national titles, local papers, dailies and periodicals.

Without funding for essential conservation and preservation work, an estimated 65% of the newspapers risk being lost to degradation!
