Post-Covid-19 Futures Commission

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) announced its Post-COVID-19 Futures Commission, with the primary goal of supporting Scotland in emerging positively from the current global health crisis.

Eager to keep things upbeat and accessible, Hillside created a series of simplistic, geometric illustrations that helped bring the commission’s work to life onscreen.

For the website, we developed a clean and simple navigation, partnered with a colour palette that gives a nod to Scotland, resulting in a fresh and engaging website. At the heart of the site is its resource hub, which brings together publicly issued papers, thought and opinion pieces, articles, galleries, online events and more, which are easy to search, filter and browse. The Commission’s work was to evolve over the years, in potentially unforeseen directions, so it was essential to create a website that would be able to evolve alongside this journey.
