Galway Arts Centre

Galway Arts Centre is one of Ireland’s absolute best-loved art spaces, providing a year round contemporary arts programme in the heart of Galway City, connecting their ever-increasing audiences with local, national and international artists.

Their new identity was created to acknowledge their long and rich history, as well as their ambitions for the future. The main symbol, an abstract visualisation of the letters A and C, is a dynamic design that represents the centre’s ability to push boundaries and challenge the way we view art and the world we live in.

Having produced work in previous years for some of their neighbouring cultural institutions, we were super excited when Galway Arts Centre reached out to us, tasking us with the fun challenge of creating their new visual identity and website.

The website now effectively promotes their full programme, covering visual art exhibitions, events, films, music, literature, workshops, residencies, festivals, theatre and performance, whilst also offering institution wide information and a checkout process for booking courses. The overall design fully explores the newly developed brand with dynamic and aesthetically engaging layouts and navigation.

New features and areas will be added in the near future, so watch this space!

We were also at hand to create whatever the Galway Arts Centre might need post-launch, whether this be on-site signage, social media templates or stationary.
